Herken je dat; patiënten die met een hulpvraag komen waarvan je weet dat psychotrauma een rol speelt, maar je kunt er niet mee uit de voeten? Dat je in een setting werkt waar überhaupt geen gespecialiseerde zorg beschikbaar is, of de wachttijden zijn erg lang? Als arts zijn we vaak beter in het behandelen van fysieke dan mentale problematiek, maar de kwetsbare patiënten die we behandelen kampen vaak met trauma-gerelateerde problematiek. In deze masterclass serie van 4 geven we jullie praktische tools om basale behandeling te kunnen bieden. Onze sprekers zijn allen specialisten uit het werkveld.

For whom?
Medical Doctors in International Health and Tropical Disease (AIGT) and residents (AIGT io) or any health care worker (interested in) working with marginalized patient groups. To get the most out of this masterclass we ask the participants to attend the event in person. We can possibly make exceptions for people abroad. For those who are abroad and cannot join in person, please contact us for options to attend online.
